I am a WBCS Gr A officernPosted as Additional District Sub Registrar Monteswar (Burdwan). Today i.e 31/10/2018 at blro office check post a team of this police station including the driver of patrolling vehicle was collecting random money from truck drivers ranging from 100 to more. My driver didn't wear seat belts and when he told them to give case they demanded 500 rs. He insisted to give him case. Ultimately I stepped into the chaos and gave them my identity to get away from this mess. If this happens to govt officers then think the condition of common people. A group of Gundas are similar to the group of Pandua police station guys. Time was between 5:45 PM to 6:15 PM.
