The lower cadre officers in this Chinsurah Police station are very lazy and lethargic. Even though you give them all the details still they don`t bother to take immediate action. We public depend on them to get immediate support but in return they are a pain for those who lodge complaints which are never sorted at the right point of time. Public have to run behind them for updates. I feel hopeless for this police station. I would request the higher authorities of IPS department to improve the functioning of this police station and set a timeline to close FIR, complaints and cases.

Police station of Chuchura near ferry Ghat area. Police shold be cooperative as well as quick responsive. We also have a duty to report every unsocial things to the police station, so that we can make our city a socially healthy place.

You are welcome when you want to file a general dairy but it sucks when you try to lodge a FIR. They will not co-operate with you.

Very good service. Stuff behaviour very good and mentioned cleaning. Very helpful. Chinsurah police station has jurisdiction over Hugli-Chuchura and Bansberia municipal areas and a part of Chinsurah Mogra CD Block. Chinsurah police station has jurisdiction by Chandannagar Police Commissionerate.Chinsurah has a woman police station.
