I know this place is highly rated and it's definitely not bad but none of the four of us ate our entire dish. I like hipster type places just as much as anyone but this place just didn't do it for us. We had breakfast here and the food just was either bland or had a strange flavor. to be fair I think the strange flavor was intentional it just wasn't to our liking. Me and my family are simple folk just give us good hearty breakfast and we'll give you five stars.

Magnolia cafe is my favorite local restaurant in Austin. Hands down. One of their chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes and a cup of bottomless coffee always cheers me up. I love their staff, the atmosphere, the entire thing. I recently had their shredded beef omelette and some really good crispy bacon.

On a rainy day this place is kind of magical. I'm pretty certain its magical everyday but when it rains the music they play hits different and the atmosphere changes. I ordered the Love Migas and coffee, while my husband ordered the veggie Reuben sandwich. We didn't have to wait very long for our food which was nice! The black beans accompanying the migas were absolutely amazing and full of flavor. I'm not sure if the salsa is house made but it complemented the eggs really well. 10/10 would eat and recommend again! I did also try my husbands food. The bell peppers were roasted perfectly, and although I'm not a fan of Sauerkraut it tied everything together, making for a perfect rainy afternoon comfort meal. I gave that a 9/10 only because I'm not a fan of home fries but they were good as well. Highly recommend Magnolia Cafe for the food, atmosphere and excellent service! We will definitely be making the drive from Pflugerville again and again!

Awesome place. Great vibe. Great service. Delicious food. Had the acorn squash special and was really surprised how good it was. Enchiladas were great too. Had the mud appetizer and was great. 5 stars all the way.

Super cute, incredible menu, FANTASTIC mimosas. Pancakes were delicious (with gluten free option). Salmon was cooked well. the shredded beef omelette was a hit with my boyfriend. Must eat place in Austin, Texas.
