Excellent location. Very nice and cozy rooms. Clean toilets. 24hrs hot water. Fantastic homely food. And amazing hospitality by the owner. Can spend countless hours enjoying view from the rooms. This would be my favourite hotel among all in Padum town.

Great hospitality, very near to main market, cozy and clean rooms. Hot water is available 24/7. Highly recommended.

Good service. Clean rooms and washrooms. Staff were very friendly and helped with our cravings for food. Very close to the market too.

we were staying at Hotel Rigyal for 2 nights........since the road to Zanskar was very bad (we were coming from Kargil) we reached real late in the night........basically Hotel Rigyal is like a guest house with decent rooms. clean bathrooms. the owner of the place Mr. Gyelson is a fantastic man........inspite of us reaching at around 11 in the night.......he organised dinner for us even at that hour and gave us piping hot delicious food......we were probably the 1st tourists to reach zanskar as the road had opened only a day prior to us getting there.....Mr. Gyelson was short of staff, since the season was to start after a couple of days of us reaching, but he did everything in his capacity (with a smile) to make us feel very comfortable.nhonestly the place is basic, but theres not much choice around there anyways. but if i ever go back to Zanskar, i will make it a point to stay back at Hotel Rigyal for the man's hospitality.nAll the best
