During Covid times I had sent a patient... the doctor behaved very rudely.n.

ATENDENT/PAITIENT PLEASE READ MY COMMENT IF YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR A CANCER HOSPITAL..nMY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE HEREud83dudc47nI took my father to GUWAHATI MEDICAL COLLEGE on Sept for his checkup and they told me that they have found a cancer o his stomach.nThey referred GMCH CANCER HOSPITAL and B BARUAH CANCER HOSPITAL, we went there but as the process is too slow, we took him NECHRI on our own will on 9th Oct.nNECHRI doctor told that my father has a small tumor and when operation is done 95% is to get a positive result but there may be complication later OT, he didn't told me anything related DEFICIENCY of POST OPERATION TEST/MACHINES in NECHRI etc, as i was unaware of the fact and no idea of post OT complication, so I thought that it will be good if I do the surgery here instead of govt hospital, and the way Doctor told me with so confidence so i assumed NECHRI has the most experienced doctor, the doctor asked me to admit my father on 15th Oct so that they can do the operation on 18th Oct to stop my father's internal bleeding and to remove the tumor safely.nAlso they said that a special doctor from Chennai shall be here.nSo we took it as a positive sign...ud83dude42nBut ud83dude14as my father was getting weak day by day so I admitted him on 14th, a day before the actual appointment date which was on 15th.nThen suddenly my doctor told that they will do the operation on 17th as the invited doctor shall also be here in 17th instead of 18th.nI ASKED my Doctor whether it will be safe to do the OPERATION so EARLY before the actual day because my father was too weak, for last 3days from the day of admission on NECHRI he is taking sline with low BP and Haemoglobin. ud83dude1eud83dude1fnBut they did the OT on 17th Oct in morning from 9am-12pm approx.nAfter the OT the doctor told me that it was not a easy operation and very risky one to operate.nI couldn't talk to my father as he was on anesthesia so waited till he came to consciousness, later on the same night of 17th Oct while i was resting in my cabin at 11pm they said they need to RE-OPERATION as blood is oozing from some vessel also asked me to bring FFP(a blood component) from khanapara at 1:00am from HEALTH CITY.nWhen I returned from HEALTH CITY at 2am, they told that they will not do the OT and will wait until morning.nNext day every thing was fine, me, my mother, brother and sister were happy as my father was able to talk and react on 18th Oct, Unaware of the fact that blood was still oozing from his OT area(from Stomach)..nAs me and my mother used to stay in hospital in shifts so on 19th at 1:30pm I went home in joy and happiness that father is all well, but at 4:30pm my mother called and said that NECHRI Dr has asked her take my father to DOWNTOWN HOSPITAL as they lack Dialysis facility.ud83dude14ud83dude31ud83dude31nI was shocked that what was actually happening, at around 6pm a ICU patient being wounded, also oozing blood from OT area was sent to another hospital for Dialysis... OMG ud83dude31nif they lack those facilities then why don't they tell before??nThey did the operation without LETTING ME KNOW THAT THEY DON'T HAVE THE ACTUALLY REQUIRED FACILITIES to ACCOMPLISH a OPERATIONnI would have taken my father to Other Hospitals where they support facilities to attain a post operation complication.nAt 7:30pm evening on 19th Oct vomiting blood all the way from NECHRI to DOWNTOWN HOSPITAL my father was admitted again in another hospitalnI remember when I was holding my father to transfer him from the ambulance bed to Emergency ward, he vomited around 300ml-400ml blood, he also vomited around 15times on the way I cried inside to see a situation which I never thought, which was so painfulud83dude13nFrom 19th to 21nd Oct no Dialysis was done, I went NECHRI tonmeet my doctor but he was on leaveud83dude20ud83dude20 how can someone be so irresponsible that a serious patient has been sent to an another hospital but till now no contact, no follow ups... I pleeded their other Doctors to please take a FOLLOW UP.nTill then it was too late, dialysis was done but my father couldn't recover and had sepsis then on ventilation and eventually died on 24th Oct 2019.nHOPELESS NECHRI
