The light in the bathroom was not working. The owner told that he'll get it fixed the next day but it wasn't. Also the cleanliness in the washroom was not good. The Buckets and Mugs were slippery on the inside and buckets has dirt in them. (That's kinda justified cause as told to me by the manager, this hostel was run by a NGO, so they had trivial income during the lockdown so they weren't able to hire a cleaner or stuff like that; but still I hell it's important to share it down here. The Volunteer/Manager was extremely friendly and jolly. I used to call upto her for anything I needed. Also, the beds and rooms were clean. Over-all experience was good.

Very rude behavior by owner...I have booked room..but due to some reason I reached there by 12 o'clock in the night and they even didn't open the gate...return me from gate in the midnight..due to night I have faced lots problem to find next room.

Good place to stay for young tourists and backpackers. Not recommended for families.

It was a great stay at Gibbon. Perfect hostel for backpackers vibes with different traveling stories. Dorms are clean, food was very delicious with very reasonable prices. Location is good, you can take a city bus from Reserve Bank stop till Bamunimaidam in just 7/-. Special thanks to Shiva who takes care of everything you need.
