Poor maintained and hell lot of mosquitos...nNow it became secret place for couples. Many couples hiding there. If you are visiting then visit during good climate. Good thing is travelling in ship transport. Entry fee is 40₹ per head.
Perfect place for an early morning stroll. Amazing natural beauty that will help you unwind, relax and appreciate the slower pace of life.

First, you've got to visit this place early in the morning t enjoy it. The best time is to be there by 6.30 am so that you can book the first boat ride at 7.00 am. The guide is knowledgeable and was able to spot and show us a number of bird species. Although many birds were what we see often in fields and marshlands, it was a nice trip in the boat. After the ride, we walked inside the mangroves. There's a nice footpath. Really nice for pictures wit the soft lighting... Photographers are advised to carry a telephoto lens greater than 200 mm to be able to capture decent images. Point to be noted; carrying a dedicated camera camera here is chargeable here.
