Koorachundu police stationnnThe Station was opened on 20.02.1963 as per GO (Rt) No. 309/ Home (D) Department dt. 08.06.1963. The former Kayanna Out post came into force on 02.02.1956. The Station was formerly known as Kayanna PS. The name was changed to Koorachundu PS vide GO Rt No. 452/80Home Dt. 23.03.80 since the Station is located at Koorachundu. The Station is housed in a new Govt. building since 08.02.1981. This was notified by GO (Rt) 716/81/Home dt. 21.3.81. The Station was first attached to Koyilandy Circle. After the formation of Koyilandy Police Circle as per GO No. 135/73 on 10.12.73 the Station was included into Perambra Circle Koorachundu Police Station is functioning in a Govt. Building near Koorachundu Town. .
