Lakkidi Viewpoint is a high altitude offering a bird's eye view of the city. this region mostly stays misty and offers a beautiful view of the hairpin turns down the hill. The thrill of driving up to the point is an experience in itself. One should visit Lakkidi View Point for sunrise and sunset to get the best views. The viewpoint is also a popular picnic spot which is often referred to as the 'Gateway to Wayanad'.
One beautiful view point that is so mesmerising that you wouldn't feel like taking it off your sight .nnBest suggested time would be during sunrise/sunset.nDue to the vehicles being parked just by the roadside, the place at times get overcrowded because of which the cops have to get into action!nnIdeal time to spend : 30 minutes.
