Not well maintained. It's polluted area. I think birds may think of not coming here. Usually u spot birds early morning 6 to 7 am. Advise do not go alone, go in groups. It's just a safety precaution to avoid any thing wrong.nCarry water along with. Metro construction is in progress within sanctuary.nThe entrance to this sanctuary is through main road , opposite Gunjan talkies.nI do not found it too interesting.

There are birds but the place is under wilful neglect , the authorities want this place to die so it can be sold of to the land mafia. Great view of Sunset amid the garbage. If you want to go there, go in a large group. Not a kid friendly place. Addicts use this place and could see syringes lying arround. There is no one at the gate and is normally deserted. You will encounter lots of wild pigs and buffalos. Not recommended to go there alone. Could have been a great place for Birding. Saw quite a birds - Brahminy Starlings, Weaver birds, Red vented bulbuls , Indian White eye and ducks.

Government should stop it's work for metro through that area, because it's a important place concerning biodiversity. Which can't be restored if the metro goes through that route.

It's a great place to be in, calm place and very pleasant place in the heart of the city. You can hear sweet sounds of birds singing which feels like heaven. However the place is not being well maintained. The corporation management should really look into preserving this place add birds sanctuary because you can find lots of variety here and in that way we can save the species.
