Very good place for living with family. Multiple new real estate projects are coming in this area. The city is better known for its Magnificent Lord Shiva Temple.
Developing City in Thane district also known as Fourth Mumbai..
A Well planned and the most emerging sub urban area of Mumbai is coming up in Ambernath. Ambernath will soon be real estate development hotspot. The area is most famous for the oldest Shiva Temple and well connected with local trains from CST.
Very old city of Mumbai Metropolitan region. Most famous for the ancient Shiva temple on east side of the city.nnOther famous places are Chikhloli dam, Barawi dam and Asia's largest housing society, Sarvodaya Housing Society which is too situated on Ambernath east.nnAmong others, the Ordinance factory of Ambernath which is spreaded in very vast and large are and almost reached to another boundary of the city on West side of Ambernath. Besides, a Deffence Research Lab is situated in additional Ambernath MIDC. Also there was a match box facory, Wimco which is closed since more than a decade. Another milestone of Ambernath The Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Company (DMCC) which was one of the first producer of Sulphuric acid and phosphate fertilizers plant in India. This plant also closed since more than a decade now.nnAmbernath is famous for its Chemical zone in MIDC and there are still lot of chemical manufacturing factories are still in existence. And recently few big name in pharmaceuticals too have set up plants in additional Ambernath MIDC.nnAll these industralization in last 2-3 decades has increased the population of the city to manyfolds and hence infrastructure, real estates and Civic body requirements too. Ambernath nagar parishad was converted to Nagar palika before 2 decades. Railway infrastructure is updated with additional FOB and platform lengths are extended for 12 to 15 car rakes along with increased frequency of trains etc.nnRoads are also almost converted from tar roads to concrete roads by muncipality in whole city except few areas still remained. MMRDA has been constructing main state highway passing through city, mostly famous by the name Kalyan- Badlapur road and it is almost completed around ninety percent which has helped lot to ease the traffic specially due to widening of the road. Another road connecting Ambernath to New Mumbai and Mumbai via Shilphata also under updation for concretization. The road is good enough but due to Mansoon every year it gets damaged and that result into accidents and slowing down the traffic. The city is connected to Murbad and Titwala through very good newly updated state highway along with light poles too. The city is well connected to with other cities by rail and roads. Airport is at one hour normally with average traffic.nnThe most sought after location for residence after Kalyan and Dombivali. Big vegetable market catering to the needs of city is situated near railway station by the name Shivaji Maharaj Bhaji market on west. Anyhow small vendors are all everywhere are available in the city. Other consumer items and life essentials shops are available.nnGood hospitals and experienced doctors are available in city itself. Good reputed schools in English and Marathi medium along with other vernacular medium too established since very long time. Masjids, mandir and Churches you can easily find in the city as they are lot in numbers.nnOverall good place to live and settle...
