This was the oldest thermal plant of Punjab and foundation was laid on 500th birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji. Plant performance was exemplary and plant won numerous prizes on excellent performance and productivity. The plant has been closed down by Punjab Govt and Units are being dismantled.
Nice place to visit if you are in bhatinda ....best time to visit in evening ...
