Usually very good but tonight we thought there was very little chicken in our dishes. Not up to the usual standard. Will be giving it a miss next month. Pity.

The quality is 5 star, the food is delicious. The prices are a bit high ( photo attached), 6 € for a plain naan bread is way too much. The starter was a bit poor, only got 2 little bowl of sauce for 4 people ( you usually get 4 types). The staff was nice. The place located outside of Cork city.

Of course the taste and ambiance of Raj is excellent compared to any other indian restaurants in Cork. But the quantity and the way food served is very poor compared with price they charge. The starters served with no chutney or sauses, main course were super expensive but only a small bowl in quantity and no rice or bread served with it, whereas other restaurants with in the city which is providing rice or bread with main course charges less. Besides, on the basis of covid they have started a new habit of charging for water, but no social distancing followed inside. It was better before the pandemic but disappointed after reopening

This restaurant is by far the best Indian cuisine in Cork, if not one of the best in the country. I was here with my wife for a lovely anniversary dinner and the whole service was sublime. We got the butter chicken and bombay prawn shashlik for mains. The meat was very tender and flavoursome. We ordered two starters as well with a bottle of red wine. Overall the entire experience was amazing and the food is well worth the price we paid.

Love the food, that's why we keep going back but their people skills could definitely improve.
