The HALDIGHATI name has come by the fact that the soil of that region is like haldi ( a spice with yellow color). THE HALDIGHATI war had been fought on June 18 ,1579 between the Royal Soldiers of Akbar ( Raja Man Singh of Amber ) & Maharana Pratap with approx 2.5 Lac soldiers of Akbar & just approx 25000 solders of Maharana Pratap. There was Blood & Blood all over the Ghati & that day even the god had not been able to stop his tears in the form of Rain. .There was heavy rain on that evening & all red color blood got mix up with yellow mud of Haldi Ghati.
