The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago

Fantastic service, great location, fully furnished rooms with nice decors. This hotel deserved a 5-star rate because of its amazing services and reliable staff. These guys are really one of the best, and I would be honored to recommend their services to all. Indeed, a wonderful and comfortable place to stay! Very amazing!

Horrible service and very unclean. An employee arrived at our door with fresh linens and no mask on his face. Rose petals left over in the bedroom and bathtub from the previous guests. Broken TV and shower. Unfriendly, unhelpful and unsanitary. You’re better off staying at a roadside motel.nnWe asked for a 2 bed suite and we were told they didn’t have any available. Very hard to believe considering the limited capacity due to COVID-19. Because of their inability to accommodate this need I had the pleasure of sleeping on the pictured pull out bed for over $500 a night.nnAt checkout we provided very simple instructions to charge the credit card on file. Much like every other request this was ignored and they placed the charge on the wrong card.nnWorst hotel experience I have ever had and an embarrassment to Chicago tourism.

The The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago is a boutique hotel run by the Joie de Vivre brand of hotels. Centrally located in downtown San Francisco by Union Square and close to China Town and the Financial District, the hotel boasts 177 different guest rooms on 8 floors. Formerly the Hotel Sutter and built in 1911, the hotel underwent a massive renovation in 2013 and it shows with quaint finishes shown throughout.

We were lucky enough to pick the Ritz-Carlton Chicago as our location for my daughters surprise micro-wedding. What an amazing experience! We worked closely with Jordan Cofer, the CaterIng Sales Manager. She was a dream to work with throughout the planning! We cannot say enough about her determination to provide us with the best wedding day we could imagine- she was priceless! Wedding planning during COVID is a little impersonal, but not at the Ritz. She provided us with such thoughtful and personalize care throughout our time working with her. Every detail was attended to... most without me asking or even realizing I needed. All the little thoughtful touches are what make the day special and we had MANY! The food was A-MAZING! All our guests raved about the beautiful dishes that were served throughout the evening. And with some guests special needs the chefs went above and beyond to accommodate them without skimping on quality and taste! The spa staff was fantastic and made my daughter feel pampered throughout her stay. And the hotel staff was outstanding! We cannot thank them all for going above and beyond for us. Special thanks to Francisco and Rudy for your constant care of us throughout our stay. What a A++++ experience we had throughout our wedding weekend! We can’t wait to stay with you again and highly recommend if any one is planning an event to contact the Ritz-Carlton Chicago...where your every need will be met and MORE!

The view was simply amazing you could see everything from the rooftop!!! The whole stay was great
