St. Johns Church,nMidnapore.nnOne of the very unique things that Medinipur offers is thatnyou can find places of worship for nearly every religion in this rather small town.nnThe St. John Church is one of the most popular Churches in the entire district.nnThe ancient looking small church has a graveyard next to it.

A British era church, which had been neglected till 2018 has been painted and restored. However, it's surroundings and it's graveyards are not in good condition. Though it had a wide and large open space, it's not well maintained and put to right use.nIt has the graves of former British officials and their spouses, which include District Magistrate, railway official, etc.nIt's imposing spire, columns and facade can never escape anybody's attention.

A very quiet and peaceful place. The church was abandoned for years. But the place is awesome.
