Been there many times,the food is Always fresh...always taste great and authentic! The restaurant itself is SPOTLESS , and is charming inside. Be a little patient when you order....its all freshly prepared. A little hidden gem!

We had the Foul and Fatoush Salad as appetizers. The foul in particular is so delicious. My wife had the Egyptian red snapper; I the vegetation version of the Moussaka. Every dish is a masterpiece of marvelous flavors and textures. They are now open for indoor dining at 25% capacity as well as outside. A must experience especially if you want to taste authentic middle eastern cuisine.

Food was freshly prepared and very tasty! Generous portion. Also had hot tea with fresh mint leaves.

I was looking for a place to have lunch at and a lot of places were closed due to Covid-19. Then I found Cafe 28! What a hidden diamond in the ruff! The owner, Muhammad is a wonderful man with a huge heart and his restaurant offers excellent quality authentic Egyptian food. I was absolutely blown away by the quality, taste and experience there! The food is rich in flavor and is so delicious! But the atmosphere is exquisite!! He offers outside dining and when it is allowed he will be able to open the inside as well. You can tell that care and love goes into every dish served. I highly recommend this restaurant!
