I had visited this temple during 1994. At that time Sri Krishnan Namboodri was the priest....We Kesavan Namboodri from mundorkara, Vasudevan bhattathiri, Raveedran Namboodri, and Aniyan stayed there a couple of days...

We have visited this temple many times. Perfectly suitable for budget accommodation, especially for south indian people. They serve south indian food on request. Only walkable distance from railway station, bus station and famous har ki paudi where ganga arti is going on every evening. Amenities are average but suitable for pilgrimage trips .

I visited and stayed there last year. Very well-maintained and clean Ayyappa Temple. I think it's the only Swami Ayyappa temple in that state (not sure). It's managed by kerala people. They are very friendly and they served me food. Thanks to them. It was a very nice experience staying there. It's near to the railway station and bus stand. Walkable distance from haridwar bridge.

This is the first Sree Lord Ayyappa temple in entire north India. Very nice ambience. This temple was constructed in the year 1955. Mandala pooja & Makara vilakku is normally celebrate here in a big way. There is a guest house also part of this Ayyappa temple. Car parking near to the temple may be a challenge as the temple is on the side of a very conjusted road. It is advisable to park your car near to the Siva moorthi which is on the main road and from there the Ayyappa temple is just walking distance (around 200 meters).
