Nothing is there to see only the statue of Gandhi at the top of hill, and Cosmo station at ground. it has to make more development.nBut there the train journey which passes around the hill is only awesome

The Gandhi Hill in Vijayawada is situated behind the Vijayawada raliway station in the Tarapet area. This hill was formerly known as 'ORR' hill in the name of a British engineer who had his office on the hill and supervised construction of Krishna barrage. Later on name of the hill was changed as Gandhi hill in the name of father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi and considered as a monument of Indian independence struggle. Gandhi Memorial, built on this hill, is the first of its kind in the country. The Gandhi Memorial here has a library and stone slab with inscriptions of Gandhi quotations. On 6th October 1968, a sthupa of 52 ft (16 m) tall was unveiled at the hilltop which is familiarized as Gandhi Sthupa. Planetarium and mini train around the hill are special attractions present here.
