Basai Wetlands

I don't know why people have given less rating although this place deserves a full 5 stars rating. Its a birds heaven.nnAlthough some people(mainly builders) are destroying this place and government is not taking any measures to save this place. It is us who have to save this beautiful place.

Basai is an amazing place for bird watching and bird photography. Usually the best time to visit is from November to Febuary as you have higher chances of seeing migratory birds like FIamingos. have seen painted storks during october this year as well.

Quite and soothing to watch migratery bird.

Only few people knows about this place. I have explored this place by using satellite view of Google Maps. U can find many migratory birds here... it's a decent size Wetland and fisheries...

It is getting destroyed by govt authorized agencies and excessive accumulation of water hyacynth. An area , which was once paradise for bird watching, is on the verge of being totally destroyed.
