The chapel of ollur church is of St.Raphel angel. He is the patron saint who prayer for us to have a good journey. To save the passengers using this road,the chapel is placed road side of Thalore - Thrissur road. In the Holy book-the bible in the book of 'Thobit',it's written how the angel raphel helped the Thobiyas,son of Thobit in his journey. The chapel is clearly visible to our sight when passing through this road. 'Spending few minutes to pray in this chapel while on your journey,the angel will come with you'. This is the faith of ollur people. Many people testimonies that this believe has helped them.
