This is must visit during your Munnar trip.nWe went through the museum antics, the tea factory, watched a documentary on KDHP and tasted and bought a lot of tea!nThe documentary will change your perspective on the company behind Ripple tea. Don't miss it!nWe were taken through the tea factory by one of the staff called Sheikh. He was so enthusiastic while explaining how different types of tea is made, occasionally offering me to operate a couple machines! I got such great pictures over there.nThe tea shop is superb. There are varieties of tea I tasted for the first time like peach and green apple iced tea, rose and vanilla green tea!nI also bought a bunch of other stuff like sustainable tea bags/strainer, fridge magnets, tea flavoured incense sticks, fancy tea spoons, etc. Tea lovers!do not miss this!nThey also have a mug/t-shirt printing shop. We could not visit that as time was up:(nIt takes about one hour to go through the entire facility.nSo make sure to go before 5p.m.! Timings are 9-6p.m.

You may get a variety of tea samples. However there is not a guided tour on how the tea is processed from plucking to packaging. Although you can look at the tea being made, it is only a part of the entire process. A video will show you the history of the place. The reason for 3 star review lies in the fact that I had a much more involved and personalized experience when visiting a tea industry in the state of Assam, and compared to it, this was very superficial just as a way to make visitors think this is everything.

Entry fees is 125 per person for adults. There is a 26 mins show in there where they show history of how tea plantations started in Kerala. Followed by they show and explain the machines used for converting tea leaves to the tea we drink. can buy tea also from here if you like light tea. Overall good experience but ticket is pricey.

Great place to learn about tea. The film will showcase Munnar's history and how it evolved. In the early days, all the tools used in Munnar are on display and there is an illustration of the story that originated in Munnar. Tea, aromatics and decorative items are all for sale. Very close to town. It is about a 15 minute drive from the center of the city. Great place to learn about tea. A must-visit place in Munnar.
