The year of construction of Malappuram Valiyangadi Shuhada Masjid is not exactly recorded but it is more than 300 years old.,nThe third floor of the three-story church and its pillars are made of large teak.nThe carvings in the church were very famous at that time and were the work of many sculptors. The verses of the Qur'an and the words of the Prophet were engraved on the windows and doors. The painted mimbara and mihrab were amazing. 44 Shuhada and many Sadats and Mahatmas rest in the mosque premises.

This is a place or Masjid of Historical Importance.We can see lots of tombs nearby.... Including those of Great Shuhadas !
