Paras JK Hospital

I'm here right now. Have to bring in my husband, who was having acute abdomen pain. It's been 3 hours and we're still waiting to even get the diagnostics. So much mismanagement. I came here because this is the nearest hospital. Big mistake. There's no proper system, attendants and management people are absolutely unhelpful. I nearly cried because I was alone with my husband, who is suffering from so much pain. Even the most important counters/help desks were either empty or gave ambiguous replies. Please don't come to this hospital if you are in emergency or severely distressed. This hospital lacks empathy.

This hospital is corrupt. I went to this hospital for a relatively low priority issue, however, an issue that is difficult for a foreigner in India (a rare blood test) to do. The reception desk was prompt and helpful, and quickly connected me to "some guy" who I thought was a doctor, but actually was not. In turn, he then brought me to a real doctor who did fast, quality work. The real doctor understood the nature of my request for a blood test, and said a 'technician', or 'nurse', or whatever would come to my apartment to take a blood sample, and then ship my sample to Delhi to do this test (I live in Udaipur). I initially wondered why they can't just take the blood sample right now (or within the next few hours, since I'm already in their hospital) as this hospital markets itself as the best blood testing/pathology network in India. It did take a lot of "go see so and so..." which is usual for here, but eventually I did see a doctor who seemed very competent and understood my rare request. However, by end of day, nobody came to take my sample and the next day I called back, then physically returned back, to ask when they can come and take a sample. The "middle man" (I don't even know what his function actually is.. triage?) said that I am "wasting his time" and when I asked who was the actual doctor I was speaking with yesterday, his response was "I won't tell you." - this is in direct violation of their charter of responsibilities posted clearly in blue on the left side of reception that they will inform you of your attending physician. He then made a hand made note with some random bank account number and asked me to transfer ~$130USD to that account, and then he could help. I asked "Why can't I just pay at reception? I have the cash?' This hospital is corrupt, or at least, has broken middlemen who are corrupt just to let you in or get any results.

Good hospital

Hospital aminuties are good but biggest problem is nothing is on time. Time punctually is not good. Even you take appointment you have to wait for an hour atleast.

Doctors are professional, experienced to handl handle critical cases. Nursing staff is well trained which ensures good post operative care.
