It's one of the main attraction in Meghalaya. You will know about the history and culture. It is worth to visit. The museum is nicely decorated and well documented. Please keep your voice low inside the museum. I personally recommend to visit this place.

North east India traditionsnnSprawled over seven floors, the Don Bosco Museum of Indigenous Cultures shows cultural artefacts of various tribes of the North East of India. The exhibits in this museum are divided into categories such as costumes, musical instruments, utensils, weapons, ornaments, housing styles, and languages. Recently, the museum has added a food gallery to provide authentically prepared recipes belonging to tribal groups to the visitors. The museum building provides a beautiful view of the city of Shillong.
