The architecture, construction and location of this fort is really beautiful and view from the fort is also amazing. This fort has a very fascinating history and it is very well maintained. It's a huge fort with thick walls, strong construction and it's amazingly planned architecturally. It is a must visit place in Jaipur.

Main attraction is the largest cannon and underground water body. Hiring a local guide is always good at such places but don't believe them when they take you to some shop claiming that it's being run by some trust. It's all fraud and don't fall for it. They loot like anything. We hired one local guide at 100rs.

Amazing and huge fort. Be careful when hiring guides. They say 100 bucks and show you hardly half the place. Standard government guide charges are 200. Check the ID!

Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building color. At the center of its stately street grid (notable in India) stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace complex. With gardens, courtyards and museums, part of it is still a royal residence.nJaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state.
