Private museum - charges are relatively very high. Recommended by almost all taxi and auto drivers; may be because of their personal financial interest.nFree guide is a very good marketing tactic and I almost trapped in it.nI found Albert hall museum BEST one among few museums I have visited in Jaipur.

This is an amazing museum if you want to be introduced to the history of Rajasthan. Very well explained to us by the guide there. It was built in the memory of Sanjay who died at a very young age and had asked his father to get this museum built. It is opposite to the beautiful Lake Palace in Jaipur.

Nice collection of historical relics and other kit kats. The free guide system is unique. They answer all your queries to your satisfaction.

Loved this place, if you have very short span of 2 hours only and you want to introduce yourself to History of Indian and other countries culture - go check out this place. Entry for Indian is Rs 100/Person. Not sure about entry fee for Non-Indian residents. Guide is free inside and it is available in local languages and English. Please be aware, this is a personal collection (Not a govt property) by Mr. Sanjay Sharma(87 years only at the moment) in memories of his son who died in little age. You can compare today's world clothing's, behavior and many other things to the other ancient cultures.
