The rooms were beautiful, the beds were really comfortable, the showers were lovely and hot, the hotel make you feel like a princess. Jonny and staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. This is a really nice place to stay In Jaisalmer, located in a nice peaceful part of the fort. You are made to feel like family when you come here. Also helped to book a good safari in the desert with the wonderful Desert Safari is amazing with Matar the best desert man in India! It was a very nice trip to the deep desert and Matar made it very enjoyable and fun. The guest house is next to the temple and it’s very unique and rooftop restaurant is super cool too!

100% Recommend to stay Thank you johnny I stayed in deep mahal for two nights and it was one of the best guest house I've been in India. Rooms are clean and tidy there is a shower and hot water in every room. They have two floor roof top. First is a reception and restaurant where food is cheap and tasty and the view is amazing, second is for jain wich is every day at hotel deep mahal organise transport tickets for your next destination and for to tourist attractions, free of charge. I was going to Udaipur and Mr johnny organise the bus tickets and guest house in both city's for me (cheap and good location) with out asking anything back for it. In hotel deep mahal everything is possible! jaisalmer and deep mahal hotel and We had an amazing time in our desert safari. Everything was very nice and organized. Our guide was definetly one of the most nicests and carefull person, we saw some villages, ate lunch untill we were full, he makes really good vegetables with chapati. We only slept one day, which we got very happy, MATAR played some desert god devotional songs. But definitely we could have done more 2 days, its all very enjoyable and well planned. It was cold since we went in October, but we took sleeping bags which helped alot. And they also have blankets. I would have done it again and asked for MATAR to guide us again,my favorite guide MATAR =)

We got picked up by Little Johnny from the bus and were immediately made to feel welcome. We came to Jaisalmer to do a camal safari which we booked through Deep Mahal and it was fantastic! We spent 2 nights and 3 days in the desert and had an amazing experience visiting desert villages, sleeping on the sand dunes, helping cook over the fire and learning Indian songs with Matar. We were supposed to leave Jaisalmer after the camal safari but ended up staying a whole week longer as we loved it so much! Fatan's cooking on the "Roof Top Chill Out Palace" is amazing (especially the thali!) The rooms are fabulous and great value for money. We made many good friends here and it was by far the best place we stayed in India.

One of the best hostel I have ever stayed in Very friendly, kind and welcoming staff, it really felt like home. The hostel was very clean in general, nice rooms with comfy beds. We arrived in very early morning, they gave us free coffee and made us an early breakfast. They suggested many things to do and places to see and accompanied us through the city. In the evening they showed us how to cook mix veggies with chapati. We booked a safari tour before hand with DEEP MAHAL yet it was no problem for them to store our luggage for the next night with no additional charge. They can however arrange the safari tour for you as well. I sincerely recommend you to stay in this hostel! Hotel deep Mahal is fantastic place❤️
