COVID charges - Bed cost Rs 45,000 per day in M-ICU & medicine, lab test - Rs 15,000 - 30,000 per day. Invoices for bed costs will not be providednnThe hospital follows the COVID medical mafia protocol which is to take advantage of the situation and squeeze money from patientsnnHow it works - the doctor will tell you to come and get admitted only for 2-3 days maximum (he will mention previous cases which he has successfully treated) but will not discuss anything regarding costs/charges on the phonennOnce admitted, the patient will be put in a M-ICU room with >4 people and you will be asked to pay Rs. 45000 as bed rate per day (the invoice will have no details of room or bed, but only 'advance' will be mentioned), even if asked, they will neither sign or stamp the invoice. They will mention treating the patient with Remdesivir injections for 5-day coursennLater per day, the sweet-talking doctor will tell you that medication is being given and after 3 days the receptionist will call and ask you to clear dues of Rs 2,10,000 (Bed - Rs 45000 per day, medicine and tests - Rs 15,000 to Rs 30,000 per day). If asked for invoices, only list of medicines and with their costs will be provided and nothing related to the room. Hospital bank details will not be shared, you will be asked to arrange for payments to personal G Pay accounts (even Google or Mr Pichai would not have dreamt that their app can be used for frauds like this).nnIf you insist on invoices, the doctor will again in a sweet voice mention - you are threatening me, I can have the patient discharged immediately. As a bloody doctor, your role is to treat patients and not get into shady money making with patients and their familiesnnPlease remember if the doctor asks you to buy Tocilizumab, please remember to ask test reports of IL-6 or D-dimer levels. This medicine is to be given only at a severe stage, so if possible please verify these reports with a 2nd doctornnClearly, government ceiling or norms of pricing are not being followed. Honestly hope the hospital management, doctors and the relevant staff involved in this money extraction are taught a lesson on how to be humane in a pandemic such as this

Fake doctor Sai Kumar who was recently arrested by police in meerpet worked in this hospital as general physician. I don't understand how come hospital didn't check his medical certificates and registration number. Even hospital is punishable.
