Booked several cabins between myself, our wedding party and our guests. Check in was a hassle and one key card and pass was not enough for 8 people in one cabin. The entire process at the gate was unpleasant, as we had several issues and the woman was not accommodating. First, she didnt want to allow me to check in because I used my husband's credit card. Then, she wouldnt allow our driver or photographer in, so we purchased day passes for both, yet neither of them received a gate key. Therefore, the driver could not come and go freely to pick up/drop off without the ONE key 8 of us were sharing in the one cabin. Furthermore, she made a big to do about everyone else in our wedding party going in and out, a maximum of 1 time for everyone except the driver. Counting our guests, our group probably rented 4 cabins. Had I known it would be a hassle to get in and out of the campground I probably wouldn't have booked any or encouraged others to join us there. It was a huge added stress to our wedding day that we did not need and at no point did we argue paying the day pass. It seemed as though she didnt initially want to even offer that. Guests should be able to come and go freely without that kind of hassle. It isnt like we were trying to sneak anyone in or allow anyone to use any facilities we were not already paying for. We literally used nothing at the campground outside of the cabins we rented. Lastly, one bathroom didnt have toilet paper.

Went camping for labor day weekend and had an absolute blast. Staff went above and beyond to make us welcome and provide any assistance that we needed. Great place for kids with plenty to do. Nice ponds for fishing. Very clean facilities. We will definitely be back!!!

This is a great campground with a very nice recreation complex including volleyball, basketball, mini golf, horseshoes, cornhole, huge playground, outdoor fitness area, multiple fishing ponds and small lake, beach area, pool (closed off season), and huge fields to use however you like. There is an additional swimming pool complex being installed as of September 2020. The staff are generally pretty great as long as they are in the office which is hit-or-miss midweek and offseason. The manager has very good customer service skills but the park is probably understaffed. The Thousand Trails side of the park is pretty nice with lots of spacious gravelled sites but many are reserved as seasonal or annual so are not available for weekenders or full-timers who are passing through. The older sites don't have sewer connections and are mostly 30 amp.

New large dog Park. New Pool complex coming in, Phase 4 bath house been remodeled Rangers & Brenda Perry have been are very friendly and helpful. They are doing great job despite the difficult year the country is going through. Some people, guest, need to calm down they are working hard to serve you. Had a great time at the lake, lots to do

Awesome place to stay...wish there were a few more trees around the sites. Great lake to kayak, swim and fish. Definitely would go back there. There is also a 9 hole golf course, sadly they have no carts to rent.
