Old Highway 41 #3 Campground

This is the best place to camp if you're looking for a quiet place without a lot going on. John Johnson at the front gate is very friendly and had us laughing as he picked on / joked with my teenagers. The campsite is beautiful and the sites are spread out, so you're not crowded. I highly recommend going toward the back of the campground. We were on #45 and will request it again when we come back. We could not hear I-75 back there.

Not good for travelers. If you're traveling cross country and, for reasons outside of your control, you will arrive after 10:30pm, you'll be stuck in overflow parking until morning. With no electricity. Or water. Or bathrooms. Even if you have a reservation. As for the campground itself, I have no idea as we never even made it inside. It looked gorgeous and I spent a lot of time choosing a campsite, but I'm not gonna get to enjoy it. Oh well.

I go here to fish, big fish in that cove!

Good place to camp. They have water and electric hookups

Quiet, peaceful, and most importantly not crowded! I love this campground because it is maintained by volunteers and very clean!
