Custer / Mount Rushmore / Black Hills KOA Holiday

Awesome!

Most definitely our favorite KOA so far. It's hard to find decent lodging for a family of 5-6 without having to purchase two rooms/cabins without spending a couple hundred dollars for 1 night stay. The ladies at check-in were very nice and accommodating. The grounds were easy to navigate with different activity areas for my kids like pool, play-set, and inflatable bouncy pad. Both lodging and detached bathrooms were very clean, and even smelled clean. This is a definite booking the next time we're in the area.

Really nice campground. Quiet, even though you're close to the highway. It's clean and the staff are super nice. Bathrooms and shower rooms were clean. Would definitely camp here again.

Great KOA. The staff made this one special. Our camp neighbors were also worked there, and they helped us on their off time by telling us what attractions in the area were the best. They even invited us to join their fire at night and were fun to talk to!

My complaint is about the management: rude, unaccommodating and lazy. As a KOA member for years, I was truly surprised. A mom, alone with 2 daughters, age 12 & 13 in a freaking thunder, flood warning, hale storm with literally 3 feet visibility and they were incredibly too lazy to wait for us to safely move our car when it was safe to do so. Never had this experience with a KOA.
