Great views and great staff

What a beautiful park! We were in a campsite at the end of the loop with a great view of the lake and easy access to fairly private swimming. Met several wonderful neighbors. Really helpful staff. Despite the lack of a well currently, they directed us to their West Shore location where we could fill our tanks and allowed us to bathe in the lake. Really restful trip for our family. Only negative was what seemed like excessive patrolling by both the rangers and state police. Not sure what that was about but it didn't cut into our vacation, just seemed odd.

Currently staying here for about a week. We rented a cabin for 4 days on the cheap and wasn’t expecting much. It has been FANTASTIC. The cabin is small, but SUPER clean, with a table, a bunk bed, microwave and mini fridge. The back area is private and just... I’m blown away. The campground as a whole is just wonderful. I’m not an avid camper - this is only my second time staying in a cabin like this, but my expectations have been exceeded in every way.

Great place to spend some time relaxing! Take a stroll around the park and if you have a fur baby be sure and bring them along for some exercise or you can just sit and relax looking out at the lake! I have been here at lease a 100 times and I can say this park is one of the cleanest parks I have ever visited. The park rangers are all friendly and very helpful.

The campground was beautiful. The views from almost every site was amazing. There wasn't much of a beach but that was only because of how high the water levels are. I do wish the hiking trail was taken care of a little better. There were places where the log path started in the middle of the path and was still mostly covered in mud.
