It's a very common place in Chinsurah and popular in young generation. Great place for passing your leisure time,fun,enjoyment,adda, friends gathering beside Hooghly river. It is just a combination of all of it. Near reach from Hooghly Mohsin College and Hooghly Collegiate School. Students also come this place for passing their tiffin break. Tea stalls,fast food stalls,phuchkas(golgappas),etc are available around the ground. You can also pass your lovable time with your special person. But now a days,Rupnagar is quite dirty and the seats are broken somewhere too. Rest after morning walk and evening walk is common for the elders in Rupnagar. Overall it is very lovable place for the residents of Chinsurah.
