This station is very nice for countryside. This is the last station of nadia districts. Murshidabad districts started after this station. There is a waiting room which is not for common people. There is a foot over bridge but conditions is very critical. Having a ticket counter, people have to suffer a lot. This station still carries the name given by British which is plassey not palashi. But hopefully it could be a Junction station. Here the local and Express trains stop.
