The Madanpur (Station code MPJ) is one of the busiest station in Sealdah Main (Sealdah-krishnanagar) route situated at Nadia district in between Kalyani(KYI) & Simurali(SMX) station. The station has 2 platforms namely 1&2 in the direction upto Ranaghat & Sealdah respectively. The ticket counter is situated on platform number 1. Generally the station is very crowded,especially in the morning & evening time.nA person can go towards Lalgola,Gede,Shantipur,Krishnanagar in UP direction & Sealdah,kolkata,Majerhat towards DOWN direction directly from this station.
