Simple junction, platform is higher than normal ground

It's a junction, Santipur local available from here, main line station, so Lalgola and EMU from and to Krishnagar available from here, Ranaghat is the next station towards sealdah.

Only local trains stopped here.

Kalinarayanpur is a junction station lies on Sealdah Lalgola route. The bifurcated route towards Shantipur starts from this station. The natural beauty of the station is eye soothing. The Churni river with green water flows just beside the station and it is on about 30 meters high from the ground. One can enjoy the day sitting on the platform and looking at the beautiful sights in front.
