Rengari Church is a reminder of the mission carried out by the Society of Jesus(S.J.)known as the Jesuits. Father Cardon was the pioneer who used to visit the people on horseback. His statue riding a horse is installed in the premises. The church is a massive brick building rarely seen elsewhere. This local community has given not less than 8 Bishops to the Roman Catholic church. Providing health care and education has been a priority here right from the beginning.

A Roman Catholic Church of Simdega diocese under chhotanagpur provincial services are provided by Jesuits society.A very well established educational hub providing quality services in tribal area of jharkhand.,this educational hub is because of full dedication of Catholic Church towards tribal people .
