One of the oldest school in the Maligaon area of Guwahati. Earlier it was a Bengali medium school but now they have a English medium also. The results of the school was very good till two decades back but the students failed to put up a remarkable result for many years now. The infrastructure needs upgradation as well as the attitude of teachers need to undergo some change. Teachers can be seen gossiping in the common room for most part of the day and discussing the menu for lunch during echo hours leaving the students at their own mercy. Playground needs attention throughout the year with tall grasses growing everywhere and some parts full of potholes. Overall, the school is crying for attention.

It is a Indian Railways affiliated school which is one of the best schools in Guwahati.The students who pass out from this school pursue a highly succesful career .
