Sonaram H.S. School, one of the oldest school in Assam was established in the year 1994 by SONARAM RAJMEDHI. It is situated at the heart of Guwahati city on the bank of river Brahmaputra, covering a total area of 20 Bighas (including playground and Hostel). There are about 500 students (from class VI to XII) in the School. The Higer Secondary section comprises of two streams- Science and Arts. The Performance of the School in academic site as well as other curricular activities is good. 100 percent students have been passed in HSLC(class X board) examination in the year 2015. Similarly 100% students have been passed in H.S. Science stream and the passing percentage of arts stream is 87% in the year 2015.
