The best picnic place in middle Assam. Just 28 kms from Nagaon, the place is admist hills with a waterfall, a rocky stream and grasslands for picnics. This place can be accessed from three roads. From samaguri, From Puranigudam gormur, From Bamuni Barhampur. The Bamuni road is the best one. The other two roads are broken and worst.nTry the local market and local tea there.

The main picnic spot has not much to look around except the slow flowing stream and the tea garden around. But the real excitement and adventure is to reach the beautiful waterfall walking through the rocky narrow way upstream. The stream needs to be crossed multiple times as you go higher and higher. Trekking shoes or any other shoes with good grip is recommended, otherwise there are high chances of slipping your feet which could result in a sprain or strain. So safety first! ud83dude42
