I am working here since beginning of march 2020 in 800MW UNIT BOP package as Billing Engineer from Jalaram Projects Private Limited side. Here most of the government and PSU workers are ghuskhor and kamchor.

The Wanakbori Thermal Power Station is the Highest Capacity of 1470 MW Generating Coal firing Power Station of Gujarat State, owned by GSECL, consisting 7 Units of 210 MW capacity each. In addition to that 8th Unit of 800 MW, the 1st Super Critical Boiler Unit of GSECL, is under construction and expected to be completed in 2019 next year. Adding this new Unit, capacity will be 2270 MW next year.nnThis station is the rolenmodel for rest of all power stations of GSECL. Every experiments are implemented here. More that 2500 employees working here including contract employees. Each and every facilities are provided here to the employee like Nice township, hospital, High-school, primary school, society building, recreation club, sports complex, cricket-lawn tennis grounds, large security staff, bank, ATMs, community hall and gardens,luxury bus facility to employees and their dependents for shopping and study at Anand etc.nThis is a very nice place to work and live.
