The biggest farmers protest I have ever witnessed. Spread over 20kms in their tractors and trollies, farmers are sitting just outside Delhi on Singhu border demanding the repeal of three draconian Farm bills brought in by the Modi govt. The resolve to fight, the vibrancy, the understanding of how the bills will ruin the rural economy and how it will affect the whole population is amazing. We spoke to young and old, men and women, and were taken aback by the maturity of the movement. Govt is trying to malign the movement but the over 1,00,000 farmers are at the border conveying their resoltion not to be deterred by anything. Salute their courage and committtment.
