Amazing initiative by the Forest Dept in collaboration with the public. Especially after the lock down of Turahalli forest due to abuse of the place, Turahalli park is the best alternative for nature lovers. Rugged walking paths, lot of trees around give a similar effect of walking in the forest. The forest staff lead by Mr.Saleem and supported by equally friendly staff will always guide us. The best alternative lung space for people in South Bangalore

This is park is developed and maintained by the forest department. It is well spread out and the mud roads inside have been cleaned. A lot of trees have been planted, but it will take a few years for them to grow.nnThere is a nice view point on a small hillock inside the park, which provides a good view. There is greenery around and is pleasing to the eye. It feels a bit lonely if crowd is not there. They plan to start entry fees, but it has not commenced yet.nnA big natural park in this area, but the facilities need to be developed.
