The railway sports ground also known as'willy ground' is good for athletes and can host cricket matches. To the east is the Hubli Dharwar rail tracks. On the west side is the old as well as the new Railway Officer rest houses and tennis courts. To the north beyond the ground are the Hubli railway divisional offices. To the left side of entrance is the Hubli Gymkhana.On the South west side is the Badminton hall. The Independence Day and Republic Day flag hoisting by Railways and RPF parade is regularly held here. The entrance side (South) is well developed and limited parking space is available.
