This is also called Nakodar CHOWK in jalandhar. Passport office also near from here. 4 ways are release from here. One is for Guru Nanak Mission chowk and for bus stand. Second to Nakodar and Guru Ravidas chowk. Third one is to kapurthala chowk and kapurthala. And fourth one is the way for Joti Chowk and market. This is a main place in jalandhar. Lovely auto is also near from this place. A Statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is placed at middle of this chowk.

Encroachment on every road has created a shabby bottleneck for traffic to pass this busy chowk at Jalandhar. Slow moving traffic has side effects of air pollution and wastage of petrol.

It is a beautiful chowk. There is a beautiful statue of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Sahib Ji in the chowk. It is a big chowk. There is green grass on the chowk. This chowk is very neat and clean. Always heavy traffic is there. IT is a very famous chowk. IT is also known by the name of Nakodar chowk.
