The cleanliness of the complex is unbelievable. I am shocked to see that this place is maintained with as much care as a shopping mall will be maintained. The passengers are informed about each and every bus entering and leaving the terminal. Although amount of seating chairs available is very less. If that is taken care this will be a beautiful place.

The bus terminal is a hub long distance as well as local transport. Located at the heart of the city, it is starting point of buses to various parts of the state. Being built as a bus terminal and commercial center, one has a number options for refreshment before or after travel. For long distance buses with no reservation, there is a facility here by which the passenger can reserve a seat from the terminal with a nominal amount. This facility can be availed from the terminal only. Considering the size and number of people coming in a day one cannot say it is the cleanest bus station.

One of the best KSRTC bus terminal in Kerala ( only in terms of building) . Very poor in neatness. There is no control for parking buses inside the terminal, also the platform drainage with full of rats. If you stand near to drainage way there may be a chance to get a 'hi' from rats. Some shops are good. Best thing I observed is there is good parking place for cars and two wheelers..

It's an extremely huge and vibrant institution with a beat of it's own. Buses are quite frequent and almost to all desirable destinations. Restroom services are free and you can almost anything to snack on while you await your ride. The complex is huge and I was personally startled at it's size when I first happened to come across it. It has multiple entrances and exits and the size makes it easy to get lost as well.
