Excellent location with avg room facilities. Rooms are neat and clean and food is also great. And the behaviour of staffs manger everyone is so nice.

Our stay at Kananam was indeed a pleasant experience . Great ambience, exotic locale, beautiful landscaping, impeccably maintained property, delicious cuisine ..... an ideal blend of all the ingredients that go into the making of a Dream Resort ud83dudc4c And finally, the icing on the cake was provided by the courteous and dedicated Staff at Kananam, who were always on their toes, with their excellent service, that made us feel very much at home.A memorable stay which all of us are going to cherish for ever.Thanks a lot Kananam for those quality moments provided during our stay, which was short yet sweet. A Home away from Home.

On the plus side ,this place is neat and not very difficult to reach. But their prices are exorbitant. One villa was charged at 5500 plus tax where as the amenities were very less. We couldn't close door properly and I had to place a chair against it. No hot water in shower. The one tap providing hot water worked for like 3 minutes. It is a very rainy place and everywhere the floor is slippery. Food is too spicy and very costly. For two times simple meals and a few cups of coffee we were charged 2000 rupees. At these kind of rates ,every where breakfast is complimentary but not here. Very ordinary breakfast, buffet style and 150 rupees charged per person.So unless you are ready to shell out a huge amount of money for a glimpse of mountains and very mediocre food, don't visit this place.
