This is an airport which is also a defence airport. I like that there is no hassle. Usually one flight checkin at one point. Photography is not allowed. But very clean place with helpful authorities. Only disappointment is that airport is far from main city and no taxi service is available here. Taxi or cab service is very essential in a place like this. No ola or uber cabs too.

Best Airport. Within 5mins check in , security check and all are done... ONLY SINGLE FLIGHT OF SPICEJET. We had our flight to Mumbai on 25th Nov 2020, it was the first day the flight to Mumbai started. They brought a cake also... 🎊🎊🎉😁😁.. It arrived 25mins earlier to Mumbai. Today on 30th Nov. We returned from Mumbai and the flight arrived at Adampur 45mins earlier. Best Airport. It's quite SMALL BUT EVERYTHING IS DONE WITHIN 5MINS. FORGET AMRITSAR AIRPORT AND GO FROM ADAMPUR..... SUPER HELPFUL STAFF AND PUNJAB POLICE. DONT MESS WITH THE MILITARY AND DONT TAKE PICTURES AS IT IS AN AIRFORCE BASE(not fully constructed airport). Best experience it was our first flight. 🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👏. Thank you spicejet- and thanku Adampur airforce base/Airport. They even cut cake as on 25th it was first flight to Mumbai ..... 💯💯

Very ugly . No main road for approach. Only through villages broken roads
