Quite unlike the usual museums. It's officially a 'Cultural Heritage Complex' - and houses traditional bamboo-and-mud huts of various tribes of Manipur. These huts further contain traditional pots, weapons, baskets, and daily use items of various tribes and ethnic groups of Manipur in particular and South-East Asia in general. One hut contains around 30 different dolls of different people in their traditional attire. The complex showcases the remarkable tribal diversity of the region.
